Martha Tyler has been a nanny and tutor in the Chicago area for almost a decade, and she is a Co-Founder of Compassionate Childcare LLC.
Martha loves working with children and is both grateful and excited to blend her love of theater and education into her day job. Martha has her Masters in Education from the University of Tennessee and, after a brief stint in formal education, discovered working with young children and families to be her passion! She is a certified Positive Discipline Parent Educator and is currently studying to become a family counselor at Northeastern Illinois University to continue her love of helping families provide care for their littlest members.

Martha is a proud member of the International Nanny Association and the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy, and has been an invited speaker to both Nannypalooza as well as the International Nanny Association Annual Conference. She has been featured in Nanny Magazine and in several childcare podcasts. She is also an expert contributor to CareNectar and sits on a monthly panel along with Cady to support nannies and caregivers for the Mindful Care Collective.

Cady Andersson is an Early Childhood Educator in Chicago, Illinois, and Co-Founder of Compassionate Childcare, LLC.
Teaching since 2015, she has completed several valuable training opportunities surrounding Theraplay Sunshine Circles, Anti-Bias Literature, and Positive Discipline. Cady is a Certified Positive Discipline Parent Educator and Certified Positive Discipline Early Childhood Educator.
Cady holds a Master of Science Degree in Early Childhood Education from The Erikson Institute in Chicago, Illinois. Cady is also endorsed as a Learning Behavior Specialist and believes the most powerful impact educators can have in the lives of children is by encouraging and educating the adults surrounding the child.
Cady created The Compassionate Caregiver Podcast with the goal of uplifting parents, caregivers, educators, and nannies during the challenging journey of caring for children. This podcast offers short bursts of encouragement, skills, compassion, and courage for any adult in relationship with children.
Cady knows about and has experienced the caregiving process through the lens of a nanny, a teacher, and a parent, which gives her a special understanding of the many intersecting influences in the development of children and their caregivers.
Cady is passionate about helping children inside her classroom as well as supporting parents, educators, and caregivers outside of it.
